About the Performance
Requiem: Fire in the Air of the Earth is a reimagining of Mozart’s Requiem in D minor created by Kyle Abraham and music composer Jlin. Performed by ten company dancers, the work pairs Jlin’s electronic transformation of Mozart’s score with abstracted themes of afterlife, reincarnation, mythology, and folklore.
