The Weathering
About the Performance
Created in 2022 for The Royal Ballet, The Weathering is American choreographer Kyle Abraham’s second work on the Main Stage, following Optional Family: A Divertissement in 2021. The Weathering features 11 dancers of the Company and was created with composer Ryan Lott, costume designer Karen Young and lighting designer Dan Scully. Exuberant vitality intertwines with poignant loss in this abstract ballet about remembrance and connection.
