Matthew Baker

MATTHEW BAKER (Logistics Manager; he/him) hails from Ann Arbor, Michigan. He received a BFA in Dance from Western Michigan University in 2008 and was honored with the university’s Distinguished Alumni Award in 2014.

Baker performed with Kyle Abraham Dance Vanguard as a dancer from 2011-2019. He later served as Rehearsal Director and Choreographic Associate before transitioning to the company’s administrative team full-time, where he now serves as Logistics Manager.

Prior to joining Kyle Abraham Dance Vanguard, Baker danced with Keigwin + Company from 2009-2014 under the artistic direction of Larry Keigwin and co-founder Nicole Wolcott, and worked with choreographers including Mark Dendy and Keith Thompson. He thanks his parents and family for their constant love and support. Baker joined Kyle Abraham Dance Vanguard in 2011.
