Kalen Simpson

KALEN SIMPSON (he/him) is a dancer and choreographer whose work is shaped by a curiosity about collaboration and a commitment to fostering community through movement. Originally from Prince George’s County, Maryland, he developed his artistic practice through training across a range of movement forms.

A recent graduate of the George Mason University School of Dance, Simpson has continued to expand his artistic perspective through programs with Nederlands Dans Theater, Springboard Danse, Jacob’s Pillow Contemporary Program, and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. Throughout his artistic journey, he has performed works by artists including Rena Butler, Kyle Abraham, Andrea Miller, and Doug Varone. 

A 2026 Princess Grace Honoraria, Simpson joined Kyle Abraham Dance Vanguard in 2026.
